PERRYTON, Texas (KFDA) -The Perryton Rangers have secured their playoff spot for the second straight year under head coach Josh Hernandez.
The Rangers will face an undefeated Midland Greenwood team Friday in their next playoff matchup as they look to advance further in the postseason.
Last year, the Rangers lost in overtime to Monahans by one point in what Hernandez described as a heartbreaker.
Hernandez said the team will need to perform at their best against the 10-0 Greenwood team, which ranks in the top five in the state.
