Alejandro Garnacho has provided the perfect response to being snubbed from the latest Argentina squad and any concerns over his behaviour. The 21-year-old last played for his country in November 2024 with his final six or so months at Manchester United also proving to be difficult.
After being dropped by Ruben Amorim against Manchester City in December, Garnacho struggled for regular appearances in the starting XI. He was omitted from the squad for their final day clash against Aston Villa - four days on from defeat to Tottenham in the Europa League final - after being told by Amorim he was free to depart.
Links to Chelsea had been present since January with the winger going on to make the move from Old Trafford to Stamford Bridge in late August for £40million. His
