NORTH HUNTINGDON, Pa. —

Elizabeth Lindsay, a martial arts master, credits her Tang Soo Do training, medical care, and faith for her survival after an SUV collided with her motorcycle on Route 30 in North Versailles last August.

Doctors believe Lindsay's decades of mastering Tang Soo Do played a crucial role in her recovery. Advertisement

"The medical community kept on saying whatever you were doing before this is what saved your life," Lindsay said.

However, her martial arts community credited the medical professionals, while others saw her survival as a miracle.

"Anybody who's not in the medical community or martial arts community was like, it's a miracle. God," she said.

Upon waking in the hospital, Lindsay was confused and disoriented, with her brother by her side.
