COLUMBUS, Ohio — They are truly ‘Brothers in Arms.’
Daniel, David and Donald Wallace share a brotherly tradition of military service.
“Daniel got drafted,” said Donald Wallace. “David followed in the Air Force. Danny was in the Army. Those two served, so I thought it was my turn. So, I went into the Army also.”
Now, they are sharing the Honor Flight experience with a recent trip to Washington D.C. with Honor Flight Columbus.
“It means a lot,” said Donald about traveling with his big brothers. “Obviously, I looked up to both of them growing up. So, for me to be the youngest and for them to wait for me, it definitely means a lot and then to see all the memorials that we’re seeing, it really tugs on your heart strings.”
