World Diabetes Day is observed every year on November 14. It is recognised as the world’s largest campaign to raise awareness about diabetes. It reaches over one billion people across more than 160 countries, according to the International Diabetes Federation (IDF).

This year, the World Health Organization (WHO has chosen the theme “Diabetes Across Life Stages." The campaign highlights the importance of providing comprehensive care and support for people living with diabetes at every stage of life. It also focuses on creating environments and policies that promote good health, dignity and self-management.
