BOTTINEAU, N.D. (KMOT) - Bottineau’s Cinderella run through the Class A playoffs continues against top-seeded and undefeated Langdon Area-Munich in Dakota Bowl 33.
Of the 14 games played up to this point in the Class A football playoffs, only two have been won by the road team—one was Bottineau in the quarterfinals, and then Bottineau in the semifinals.
And now the Braves are in a position they have never been in before: heading off to their first state championship game in school history.
The Braves have won their previous two playoff games by a combined three points.
“It still really hasn’t hit me yet. It’s unbelievable,” said Emerson Marum, junior.
