Lompoc Police arrested 47-year-old Ricardo Romero Wednesday on multiple felony charges involving the grooming of an underage female, which ultimately led to unlawful sexual acts occurring over several years, the department reported.

After investigation, Romero was identified as a suspect and a search and arrest warrant was issued, according to detectives.

At approximately 9 a.m. Wednesday detectives located and arrested Romero in Lompoc pursuant to the warrant.

He is in custody with bail set at $100,000.

Lompoc Police are asking additional victims or those with more information to contact Det. Renner.
