WILLIAMSPORT — A Black former student claims the harassment she endured at Bucknell University led her to jump out of a third-floor window of a residence unit.
Brianna Thomas accuses the university in a civil rights suit in the U.S. Middle District Court of failing to address her harassment complaints.
Bucknell does not comment on pending litigation, but had sought dismissal of the suit that had been transferred into the Middle District in August.
The dismissal motion became moot Thursday when Judge Joseph F. Saporito Jr. allowed Thomas, a New York State resident, to file an amended complaint.
