WASHINGTON — Food To Live has recalled certain packaged dietary supplement powders due to concerns about a salmonella outbreak.
Two packages sold by the brand, "Organic Moringa Leaf Powder" and "Organic Supergreens Powder Mix," with lot codes starting with SO-69006 and ending with SO-72558 are impacted, according to the Food and Drug Administration .
The recall alert says the illnesses are connected to a supply of the dried Moringa oleifera from Vallon Farm Direct PVT LTD in India.
FDA and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are investigating salmonella reports in multiple states.
