It takes an unbelievable season to be a unanimous MVP in Major League Baseball. To do it three times? That's just otherworldly.

On Thursday, Shohei Ohtani won his third consecutive MVP Award (fourth overall) and all three were unanimous. The Baseball Writers' Association of America (BBWAA) has been voting on the current version of the American and National League MVP Awards since 1931, and yet just 23 players have won unanimously.
