BUFFALO, N.Y. — A federal judge on Thursday indicated that for now she is not inclined to release minutes from the grand jury proceedings in which six men, including Pharaoh's strip club owner Peter Gerace, were indicted on charges of witness tampering.

It's the lates development in a courtroom chess match that could highly impact the nearly two-year-old case.

Grand Jury proceedings are held in secret and releasing details of went on would be more the exception than the rule. However, lawyers for the accused are asking for an exception, and have one judge already siding with them in their claim that they can't effectively defend their clients if the rules were broken.
