The Florida Board of Education said its keeping an eye on Tina Certain, Alachua County School Board Vice Chair, for her comments about Charlie Kirk days after his murder on Facebook. The board said the posts were "egregious for anyone to make, let alone an school board leader." Certain said the comment was made her personal Facebook profile, not one representing the board.
The board reviewed remarks she posted on her personal Facebook account, which state officials described as inappropriate and offensive, including comments, beyond the Kirk-related post.
