Imphal, November 13 2025: BJP National general secretary (organisation) BL Santosh and North East coordinator Dr Sambit Patra met Kuki-Zo MLAs of the party in Churachandpur district today.

The BJP leaders also visited Maram village in Senapati district, where they interacted with the district party president, office-bearers and Naga intellectuals to promote peace in Manipur and strengthen the party.

BL Santosh and Sambit Patra flew to Churachandpur in a helicopter from Imphal around 9.30 am today.

Upon reaching, they held a closed-door meeting with the Kuki-Zo MLAs, gathering inputs on forming a popular Government and advancing peace efforts.

There are 10 Kuki-Zo MLAs in the State assembly, including seven from the BJP .

All of them have so far kept themselves distant from any talks
