Newly released surveillance video shows masked suspects wielding rifles in an ambush that left a man dead back in October outside a Pompano Beach residence.

The video, released by the Broward Sheriff's Office on Thursday, stems from an Oct. 4 incident in the 1600 block of Northwest 10th Circle.

Deputies responded to reports of a shooting in the area, where they found two men suffering from gunshot wounds. One of them, identified as Lennie Gayle, was pronounced dead at the hospital.

According to detectives, the surveillance video shows two masked men wearing black and armed with rifle-style firearms exiting a red Honda Accord that was parked near the residence. One of the rifles had a distinct blue magazine.
