A measles outbreak on the Arizona-Utah border is growing, but the general public may have been exposed to the highly contagious virus in other places in Arizona, including a sold-out Phoenix concert.
Maricopa County Department of Public Health officials said that a visitor from outside the county — they aren't saying from where — has a confirmed case of measles and visited two public locations that may have exposed others to the respiratory virus, which can linger in the air and for up to two hours. And officials with Coconino County Health and Human Services said a person infected with measles visited the Flagstaff Mall on Nov. 6.
