LIBERTY LAKE, Wash. – The City of Liberty Lake is mourning the loss of former Mayor Shane Brickner, who passed away on November 8, at the age of 50 due to natural causes and cardiac arrest.
Brickner stepped down from his role as mayor five years ago due to health issues with his heart.
He was born on March 10, 1975, in Spokane, Washington, and lived a life marked by service and devotion to his family and community. He is survived by his three children, three grandchildren, parents, brother, sister and his wife. Shane was preceded in death by a brother.
