LAS VEGAS — Detroit Tigers left-hander Tarik Skubal added a second American League Cy Young Award to his trophy case this week, but he didn't bring home the AL Most Valuable Player Award.
Skubal finished fifth in MVP voting.
In a virtual two-player race, New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge captured the AL MVP on Thursday, Nov. 13, receiving 17 of 30 first-place votes from the Baseball Writers Association of America . Seattle Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh finished in second with the other 13 first-place votes.
