Fifteen former patients have filed a lawsuit against the medical director of a York methadone clinic accusing him of rape and medical malpractice.
Christopher Jackson Davis, 63, of York, exploited the vulnerable women’s opioid addictions to coerce them into sex, the lawsuit said.
The women saw Davis at the Pyramid Healthcare York Methadone Treatment Center, located at 104 Davies Drive in York County, where Davis was the medical director and lead physician. Davis also had a private practice specializing in addiction care at 1800 Market Street in York.
The lawsuit also accuses CVS Health Corporation of negligence for filling prescriptions for excessive dosages and potentially dangerous drug combinations, enabling Davis to continue his abuse.
