ASHEVILLE, N.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Asheville Police Department reports the Hazardous Disposal Team responded after a woman found a smoke grenade in her home.

The AN-M8 Smoke HC grenade was safely removed from the home, officials said.

It is currently unknown how the smoke grenade came to be in the woman’s home.
