Hear the one about the two students who took a long walk after a night of drinking at a bar? Tens of thousands have, thanks to a viral Reddit post.
Two Ohio State students shared in a Sunday post in the r/Running community that they left a bar over the weekend around 1:30 a.m. and decided to see who could walk the longest without giving up.
The contest turned into a 26.2 mile endurance competition on the fitness app Strava.
“After about 10 miles we realized we were way too far from home and no one was awake to drive us back, so we just went for a full marathon,” the one student wrote.
They reportedly did this with jeans, sweatshirts and non-athletic sneakers.
