The Sikkim State Cooperative Union (SICUN) is set to celebrate the 72nd All India Cooperative Week from November 14 to 20, 2025, with state-wide events reflecting the national theme-“Cooperatives as Vehicles for Atmanirbhar Bharat.”
At a preparatory meeting chaired by Dr. Mangal Jit Rai, Chairman of SICUN, officials reviewed plans to replicate last year’s grand state-wide celebration. The week-long event, organised in coordination with the Cooperation Department and apex cooperative bodies, will highlight the cooperative movement’s contribution to India’s self-reliance and socio-economic growth.
The celebration schedule will span all six districts of Sikkim-Namchi (Nov 14), Gyalzing (Nov 15), Soreng (Nov 16), Mangan (Nov 17), Gangtok (Nov 18), Pakyong (Nov 19), and conclude with a grand
