FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WSMV) - Franklin officials say an electrical fire started at an office building early Thursday.
The Franklin Fire Department says it happened at Bowers Park 1, a five-story building at 6630 Carothers Parkway. Firefighters responded to the scene just before 6 a.m. after a fire alarm went off.
The fire started in a hallway on the first floor of the building, and the department said first responders were able to contain it to that area.
“Early notification, quick response by firefighters, and the building’s safety systems all worked together to protect the businesses and workplaces of hundreds of employees,” Farris said.
