Like this new 'Rhody Hoops Rundown' blog we are doing at WJAR, college basketball teams across Rhode Island are just getting started during the first few weeks of the 2025-26 college basketball season. Fortunately for me, I've known my partner on this blog, Bill Koch of The Providence Journal, a little longer than Jason Edwards has known Ryan Mela, and Tyler Cochran has known Cranston's Jaymien Aponte. All that to say, that's the current landscape of college basketball, teams in Rhode Island and beyond bringing in at least five new rotational players who are still getting to know each other on/off the court.
