WINNIPEG — Jermarcus Hardrick has joined some elite company in Saskatchewan Roughriders history.
On Thursday night, the 35-year-old right tackle was named the CFL’s Most Outstanding Lineman at the CFL Awards gala during Grey Cup week in Winnipeg.
He joins Brendan LaBatte (2013), Gene Makowsky (2004, 2005), Andrew Greene (2003) and Roger Aldag (1986, 1988) as the only other Roughriders to win the award.
Hardrick — who was named an all-CFLer for the third time in his career this season — was also named the West division’s top lineman in 2023 when he was with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers however he lost to Toronto’s Dejon Allen for the leaguewide award. This year, he received 38 of 53 votes to beat Hamilton’s Brandon Revenberg.
