A 27-year-old Cumberland County woman was arrested this week in connection with the 2023 overdose death of her 2-year-old daughter , police said.

On Wednesday evening, Annjalee Nunez surrendered to Mechanicsburg police. She was booked and taken to the Cumberland County Prison, with her bail denied.

Nunez is charged with three felony offenses: third-degree murder, involuntary manslaughter and endangering the welfare of a child.

The charges stem from the Jan. 10, 2023, death of her daughter, Ivory Nunez, who was almost 3 years old. An affidavit of probable cause filed against Nunez gave the following account:
