Imphal, November 13 2025: The Office of the State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities, Manipur, convened a "Coordination Meeting with District Social Welfare Officers (DSWOs), Medical Authorities (RIMS, JNIMS, and all Chief Medical Officers), and leading Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) dedicated to the welfare of Persons with Disabilities" at Hotel Imphal, North AOC today.

The meeting was held to deliberate upon comprehensive strategies, operational modalities, and inter-departmental convergence mechanisms for the expeditious issuance of Unique Disability ID (UDID) Certificates and for the effective facilitation of Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBDs), particularly those requiring high support needs.
