An Atlas V rocket launched from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station Thursday at 10:04 p.m.

The launch window was open until 10:48 p.m.

The United Launch Alliance (ULA) Atlas rocket lifted off at the Space Launch Complex 41 on Florida's Space Coast.

The rocket carries a communications satellite for Visat, the California-based communications company.

The mission was scrubbed last week due to an issue on the Atlas booster.
