SRINAGAR : The counting of votes for the Bihar Assembly elections is underway under stringent security arrangements, with officials beginning the process at 8 am across 46 counting centres covering all 243 constituencies in the state’s 38 districts. Follow Us On G -N e w s | Whatsapp

Early trends are expected roughly two hours after counting commenced, offering the first indication of the electoral outcome.

Polling was held in two phases on November 6 and 11, with Bihar registering a record voter turnout of 67.13 per cent — the highest since 1951.

The results will determine the fate of 2,616 candidates, including 258 women, who contested the 2025 Assembly elections.
