The first half of the New York Jets game against the New England Patriots is in the books, and the Jets are trailing the Patriots, 14 – 7.
The game opened with the Jets on offense. They put together an impressive, long, clock-chewing drive ending in a Justin Fields five yard run for a touchdown and an early 7 – 0 Jets lead.
A fast first quarter came to an end with the Patriots on their first drive of the game deep in Jets territory, threatening to even up the game on the Jets 11 yard line. Two plays later TreVeyon Henderson took it into the end zone to tie the game at 7 – 7.
After the Patriots forced a quick three and out by the Jets, they went on the march again. Midway through the second quarter TreVeyon Henderson took a handoff into the end zone for his second touchdown of the first
