Imphal, November 13 2025: In a heart warming tribute to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, fondly remembered as "Chacha Nehru," Children's Day was celebrated with spirited enthusiasm across Tengnoupal and Kakching districts on November 13, 2025 .

According to a release issued by the IGAR (South), the commemorative events, organised by Assam Rifles, brought together over 250 children from local schools, neighbouring communities and remote villages, creating a vibrant atmosphere of camaraderie and celebration.
