Imphal, November 13 2025: Kharibam Yaiphaba Meitei, Sub-Editor at The Sangai Express has been named among seven journalists selected for the Manipur State Journalist Awards 2025 .

Kharibam Yaiphaba Meitei has been named for the Manipur State Journalist Award for reporting with special reference to women and children.

The other winners of the Manipur State Journalist Award 2025 are Sanasam Kritivas Singh (Sanaleibak) for reporting on Science & Technology, Dr Khaidem Athouba Meitei (Sanaleibak) for Parliamentary reporting, Thongam Boney Singh (Poknapham) for reporting on Art & Culture and Hemchandra Shagolsem (Sanaleibak) for reporting on Public Health & Hygiene, Aribam Robindro Sharma of Poknapham has been named for the best Editor award for writing on National integration and communal h
