One longstanding Mountain State volleyball tradition continued Thursday afternoon, with an Eastern Panhandle representative competing in the WVSSAC large-school division state tournament final.
Another burgeoning one continued, too: Morgantown, which had never played in a title match before the Class of 2026 came around, hasn’t missed one on their watch.
The Mohigans made the final chapter of that foursome a pleasant one with a 3-1 (25-22, 25-20, 16-25, 25-14) victory over Hedgesville in the Class AAAA final at the Charleston Coliseum & Convention Center.
