Fuerza Régida, Grupo Frontero Join Forces For Latin Grammy Performance

Fuerza Regida made their Latin Grammys debut in a big way. The Mexican-American band joined forces with Grupo Frontera and also performed their global smash “Malboro Rojo.”

Fuerza Regida are pioneers in the corridos tumbados movement. After years of cultivating the sound and the scene, the group led by Jesús Ortiz Paz received their first Latin Grammy nomination this year. They were nominated for Best Regional Mexican Song for their collaboration “Me Jalo” with Grupo Frontera.

In a move fitting for their debut, Fuerza Regida opened their set with the feel-good “Me Jalo” with Grupo Frontera, who performed earlier in the evening with Carlos Santana.
