K9 Roso, the partner of Trooper First Class Aaron Pelletier, has died, according to state police.
He died on Wednesday surrounded by his family after a recent medical diagnosis, state police said.

K9 Roso retired and remained with the Pelletier family after Trooper Pelletier was struck and killed during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 in Southington in May 2024.
He was in Pelletier's cruiser when Pelletier was struck.
K9 Roso was a graduate of the 223rd Patrol K9 Class and the 225th Firearms Detection K9 Class. He also served on the State Police Tactical Unit, according to state police.
