MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - A graduated senior from Delavan-Darien High School is the winner of a 2026 Wisconsin State Park and Forest vehicle admission pass design contest, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources announced on Thursday.
Jaelyn Logterman won the award, with a design depicting friends enjoying time on the water.
She said the design was inspired by her own adventures with her dog.
“Ultimately, chasing him around throughout his adventures has helped keep my feet wet throughout my childhood,” Logterman said.
Wisconsin offers many different water-based recreation opportunities with having more than 15,000 inland lakes, 43,000 miles of rivers and 659 miles of Great Lakes shoreline.
The DNR-sponsored design contest received more than 150 submissions.
