A heartless coward who murdered 28-year-old Molly Ticehurst in an appalling case of domestic violence has pleaded guilty, finally ending months of delays which only deepened her family’s grief.
Daniel Billings entered Ms Ticehurst’s home in Forbes, New South Wales, in April last year.
Court documents alleged he broke in through a bedroom window before mercilessly stabbing her to death with a hunting knife and also bashing her daschund puppy dead with a hammer.
Billings appeared in Forbes Local Court via video link on Friday from a room in Goulburn jail.
Solicitor Diane Elston entered a guilty plea on Billings’ behalf, NewsWire reported.
The matter had been held up for more than 18 months.
