NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Fire personnel in Lebanon were able to extinguish a 25-acre brush fire on Wednesday afternoon.
Lebanon Fire crews were dispatched to 1012 Jacquelin Drive on Wednesday for reports of a brush fire.
When firefighters arrived, they quickly began working to extinguish it, but due to the wind conditions, the blaze spread rapidly beyond containment, LFD said.
The fire grew to 25 acres with heavy underbrush, so LFD requested additional crews to assist in the fight.
Multiple crews responded to the fire, and were able to get it under control within 25 minutes and fully extinguished in 45 minutes.
