After what has been a solid season, it’s hard to believe that the Ardrossan Bisons will not hoist a Metro banner this year.

Ardrossan Junior Senior High School’s football team was unable to get anything passed St. Albert in the Metro Edmonton Athletics’ Gilfillian Division championship on Saturday, Nov. 8 at JP Bowl. St. Albert led 14-0 at the half and continue to dominate in the last two quarters, finishing with a 23-0 shutout.

“The team took it pretty hard,” said Bisons head coach Lincoln Untereiner. “We went from not knowing if we were going to field a team this season to being No. 1 in the league, and we worked very hard to get there.
