ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- VDOT has officially completed and opened the new pedestrian bridge over Route 29 near The Shops at Stonefield.

Thursday morning, VDOT was joined by city, county, and University of Virginia leaders for the ribbon-cutting ceremony and first steps across the bridge.
