FORT WORTH, Texas — One person was seriously injured after a shooting in western Fort Worth, police said.

According to the Fort Worth Police Department, officers responded to a shooting at the intersection of Las Vegas Trail and Calmont Avenue around 7:09 p.m. Thursday. There, officers found a man who had been shot in the upper thigh, police said.

FWPD confirmed the man was taken to the hospital in critical condition. The department said it does not have a suspect in custody.
