CABOT, Pa. —

Residents living in Bernie's Mobile Home Park in Cabot have been dealing with water issues since October.

"I have socks tied on top of all of my spickets as a physical reminder of, ‘Wait, why is there a sock there?’ So, they don't mistakenly use the water,” Chelsea Christy told Pittsburgh’s Action News 4. Advertisement

Christy is a single mom of three who lives in the mobile home community. The family, along with their neighbors, haven’t been able to use their water in a month.

"Our water went to crap, and our water is green, and yellow, and disgusting,” Christy said.

On Oct. 16, residents received an email from the property manager advising them not to use or even boil the water because of high levels of manganese.
