BLAINE, Minn. — As some families in need of an occupational therapist in the Twin Cities face months-long waitlists, the founder and owner of a newly opened clinic said insurance companies are denying her clinic access to their networks.

"I love working with kids and families," said Jessica Naiberg, owner of Berg Therapy in Blaine. "I love helping them reach their developmental milestones. I love helping families when they're struggling. I love being that lifeline for people."

Berg Therapy opened in October. The clinic specializes in pediatric care, offering occupational, speech and feeding therapy to help children develop and improve their cognitive and motor skills.
