Among the NDA partners, the BJP was ahead in 25 seats, JD(U) in 16, and LJP (Ram Vilas) in five. On the opposition side, the RJD was leading in 10 seats and the Congress in three. The Plurals Party and the Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular) each held a lead in one seat.
Vote counting was underway on Friday for all 243 constituencies.
In Mokama, JD(U)’s Anant Kumar Singh was ahead by 2,716 votes over RJD’s Veena Devi after the first round of counting.
