CLE ELUM, Wash. — Emergency repairs to the Bullfrog Road overpass above the westbound lanes of Interstate 90 are expected to begin by the end of November, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT).
The bridge was severely damaged in late October when it was struck by an over-height load. WSDOT bridge designers have now completed plans to replace the span, and the agency expects to select a contractor in time to start work before the month ends. Crews will work through winter to restore full access to the overpass.
