Congress extends lead in Jubilee Hills bypoll
At the end of the ninth round of counting in the Jubilee Hills by-election, Congress candidate Naveen Yadav continued to maintain a strong lead, securing 91,384 votes. The ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) candidate Maganti Sunitha polled 67,481 votes, while Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) contender Lankala Deepak Reddy received 16,328 votes.
Naveen Yadav’s margin surges in Round 8
Congress candidate Naveen Yadav continued to dominate the Jubilee Hills by-election as counting progressed, widening his lead to 21,672 votes by the end of Round 8, having secured 79,634 votes.
