TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - A teen has been arrested in connection with the death of a Tucson woman, according to the victim’s family.
On Thursday night, the family of 75-year-old Sally Alcaraz Rodriguez reached out to 13 News’ Mary Coleman about the fatal hit-and-run case.
Rodriguez was found dead in the 200 block of West Tennessee Street on Nov. 3. Investigators believe she was dropped off there by a vehicle. Some property that may have belonged to her was found to the west, near the intersection of South Liberty Avenue and West Kentucky Street, so investigators are unsure when the collision happened.
The family told Mary that a detective with the Tucson Police Department let them know about the arrest of 18-year-old Alexis Eduardo Ibarra-Guerrero.
Thanks to the family’s tip, 1
