The New York Jets had opportunities to potentially win Thursday's game against the New England Patriots , but head coach Aaron Glenn said the team's lack of discipline was the death knell for his squad.
The Jets took a 7-0 lead against their division rival on Thursday evening after an impressive opening drive , but 21 consecutive points from the Pats swung the pendulum in New England's favor. In the fourth quarter, there were simply too many mistakes for the Jets to overcome.
"The one thing that really just sticks out is details and discipline," Glenn said in his postgame news conference . "That was a box that we didn't check off today. We have to look at those things, coaches and players alike, and do a better job there."
