CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) - Illinois Women's Basketball takes a trip to the Pacific Northwest for a date with the Oregon State Beavers.

The Fighting Illini have opened up the season with back-to-back wins, most recently against Illinois State on Sunday. Illinois defeated the Redbirds 75-65, with forward Barry Wallace leading the team in scoring with 22 points in 34 minutes played. Oregon State is similarly 2-0, highlighted by wins over Corban and Air Force. The Beavers finished last season with a 19-16 record and an NCAA Tournament appearance.

This is only the third time Illinois has faced Oregon State, yet the Illini have won the two previous matchups, including last season's 85-66 win.
