MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - What a week it was Madison West’s Louis Rowe.

The Regents star soccer player scored the game winning goal in the 75th minute of Madison West’s 1-0 victory in the state championship match against Marquette on Saturday.

“It’s just a crazy thing. There were so many emotions going on and I didn’t even know what to do I didn’t know how to celebrate I just took a little fall I wanted to embrace all my teammates, so I laid down on the ground in front of the crowd and I just let them all come and we enjoyed the moment together.” said Rowe.

His coach said they rallied around Rowe all season long.

“Louis been a rock. You know he’s been the core. You know we lived and died by him, so we knew that with Louis up there we were gonna battle nod he was gonna keep us in the game
