WICHITA, Kan. - Wichita State knocked down its first three-pointer of the game and never looked back in a clinical 95-74 win over Loyola Chicago Thursday night in Charles Koch Arena.
Wichita State (3-0) splashed in a school record-breaking 16 three-pointers on the night on just 32 attempts for an efficient 50 percent. Kenyon Giles and Michael Gray Jr. combined for 12 of those 16 three-pointers between the two of them. Giles went 7-for-8 for a game-high 24 points, just two points shy of his career high. Gray was 5-for-10 for 17 points.
